River Valley ASC is a free standing, ADA compliant physician-owned multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. Our entire team is dedicated to making your surgical experience as personal and comfortable as possible.  For the convenience of her patients, Dr. Connors can now perform her Endoscopy and Colonoscopy procedures at this new center. 

River Valley ASC is accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

After Scheduling your Procedure at River Valley ASC


In order to streamline and improve the flow of patient medical information to the nursing staff at the River Valley ASC, an on-line secure admissions company has been contracted to collect patient  information. Please complete this on-line medical history form as soon as possible after scheduling your appointment.      If you need help filling in this form, call customer service at 877-848-4726

The Day Before your Procedure:

During your office visit with Dr. Connors you should have been provided with instructions for your pre-procedure preparation, to be followed the day before your procedure. This preparation of very important, please contact Dr. Connors' office if you have any questions or problems with the preparation (401-348-7010).

You will not be allowed to drive, walk or take public transportation following sedation or anesthesia used during your procedure. Please make the appropriate arrangements to be driven home by a family member or friend. If you will be given general anesthesia, please make arrangements for a companion to be with you for at least twelve hours after the surgery.

The Day of your Procedure:
  • Arrive early or on time
  • Do not wear makeup or nail polish
  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
  • Leave all jewelry and valuables at home
  • Bring cases for eyeglasses, contacts and dentures
  • Bring insurance ID cards, driver's license and your co-payment
  • Make sure you have a ride home and someone to care for you at home
